Our Agile & DevOps team seeks enthusiastic, talented individuals to join our Adelaide team. Ideally, you are the kind of person who gets excited about modern approaches to better software delivery and automation, from microservices architecture and container and serverless technologies. You work well with others and understand that the optimum almost always emerges through exchanging ideas. Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented, motivated, enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join a high performing team in an exciting cloud-based big data project.
- Demonstrable team spirit: a willingness to collaborate, learn and teach others
- Self-motivated and passionate about new stacks
- Stays relevant with industry trends in knowledge and self-training
- Agile, DevOps, Containers and IaC knowledge is strongly desired
Let's talk about your qualifications and experience:
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat solutions
- Linux Platform Engineer, Ideally RHCSA
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Ansible
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience in building CICD pipelines and automation
- OpenStack experience is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
- Self-motived, passionate about DevOps, enjoys a steep learning curve
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
